Sound Impressions EP005: Lawrence

Lawrence is a an 8-piece band led by brother/sister duo Clyde and Gracie Lawrence. They hail from New York and most of the band members attended Brown University. This talented and fun band has recently announced their fourth studio album, Family Business. They are celebrating that release later this year with a 40 date international headlining tour kicking off in Summer 2024. From the recent Live Nation announcement: "Lawrence has captivated and built a huge audience of die-hard fans with a distinct sound rooted in classic artists like Stevie Wonder, Randy Newman and Aretha Franklin, spun together with a high-energy pop edge. Their clever and brilliantly-crafted original songs are driven by Clyde’s keyboards, raspy voice, a rowdy horn section and Gracie’s vocals soaring on top.
