Lucky #13!

We know you have had to wait a while, but it is finally here! Show #13 of the Summerhill Gang is ready for your listening pleasure...
This week, we update you on all the happenings here on Summerhill Drive, including Superbowl depression, torrential rains and sore bowling muscles. In TV we mention our favorite Superbowl ads, talk about the returns of Lost and Survivor, more talk about some of our favorite shows like Heroes, My Name is Earl and The Office, we lament missing the premiere of The Amazing Race: All Stars and we have another funny (and horrible) American Idol audition. Plus we present a new segment called New To Us where Jamie reviews Veronica Mars and Doug reviews 30 Rock. We also have a special 60 Second Sitcom, which is not 60 seconds...tune in to hear clips of "The Todd," one of our favorite characters from Scrubs. In Music we talk about the Grammy Awards and the return of The Police. In Movies we take a look at the Best Picture nominees for the Academy Awards, including a brief review of Little Miss Sunshine, we talk about Jamie finally watching The Shawshank Redemption and we play the new trailer for Jerry Seinfeld's upcoming animated movie called Bee Movie.
All of that pop culture goodness is waiting for you in this week's show of The Summerhill Gang. It's Lucky #13...Enjoy!

Okay, re: your comments British Office (BO) versus American Office(AO)...we were turned on to the British version before the American version, and we thought that Ricky Gervais rocked! But then, when we saw the pilot of the AO, we were so depressed that Steve Carrell was trying to be Ricky Gervais. I mean Carrell is really funny, so it was depressing to us that he was thusly constrained by AO. We were delighted to hear on the podcast that AO has diverged from BO. By the middle/end of BO, Dave and I were way more cringing at the harsh reality-ness of the show -- until the spark of light in the Christmas Reunion show. I'd guess that some American censorship and cultural adaptation could be thanked for that.
