Sierra Ferrell is an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist hailing from Charleston, West Virginia. She spent most of her young adult life roaming the country, living a nomadic lifestyle, and busking on street corners from Seattle to New Orleans. Turning her life around after battling addiction and near-death overdoses, she recently released a superb album called Trail of Flowers that is receiving rave reviews. Now traveling around the US on a headlining tour, Sierra is finally getting the attention that her music and songwriting deserves. On this episode, The Summerhill Gang introduces you to an artist who has one foot in the traditions of the past and another stepping into the future! Check out links and videos below.
