TV
The Amazing Race has a new feature this year. It is called Elimination Station. You can check it out over at CBS.
American Idol is almost down to the final 12. Jamie's favorite to win it all is Melinda Doolittle. Check out her performance of "My Funny Valentine" over at YouTube.
We are loving Lost and liked last week's episode "Tricia Tanaka is Dead". It gave us more back story of Hurley and there were some very funny moments, especially from Sawyer's one-liners. You can watch full episodes online over at ABC.
Check out the Slingbox. This technology is AWESOME! Watch local live and recorded TV over the Internet...you can change channels and control your Tivo programs just like you were in front of your TV at home.
Are you watching Heroes yet? We think it is the best show on TV now.
Catch up by watching episodes online at NBC's website.
New To Us
Jamie reviewed The Knights of Prosperity. This is a very funny show produced by David Letterman. You can watch full episodes online at ABC. Unfortunately, ABC has pulled the show off of the air. What kind of ratings did they expect when they put it on opposite American Idol?
Doug reviewed The Black Donnellys. This show is airing on Monday nights in the slot that Studio 60 was in. If you are looking for a drama about an Irish mob family in the vein of Goodfellas and The Godfather, without the bloody violence and swearing, then this show might be for you. Doug liked it and is going to keep watching.
In other TV news:
Is ABC developing a TV show for the cavemen in the Geico commercials? Check out this article and also this one over at TVSquad.
If you don't know what we are talking about, go watch one of the commercials and also check out the Caveman's crib.
Also, the first six episodes of Andy Barker, P.I. are online.
You can also check out the new show from NBC with Jeff Goldblum called Raines.
60 Second Sitcom

Pop Culture Confessional
This week: What is your favorite love song from the '80's?
Doug's pick: "Take on Me" by A-ha. Watch the video here.
Jamie's pick: "Every Breath You Take" by The Police. Watch the video.
Listener feedback:
- Josh's favorite is "Open Arms" by Journey from 1982.
- Our anonymous caller picked "Right Here Waiting" by Richard Marx from 1989.
- Stacy wrote in that her favorite was Van Halen's "Feel Your Love Tonight". It was a joke, of course, but she then picked one for each of her boyfriends in the '80's. The songs were "You're the Inspiration" by Chicago, "Crazy for You" by Madonna, "No One Like You" by the Scorpions and "Angel" by Aerosmith. Whew...glad she married that last boyfriend...
- Jodie wrote to tell us that her favorite was "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now" by Starship in 1987.
- Erin's favorite is "Glory of Love" by Peter Cetera from 1986.
New question: If you could have a superpower/special ability, what would it be?
Want to hear more of the songs that Jamie quizzed Doug on?
Check them out:
- "Careless Whisper" by Wham!, a #1 song from 1985.
- "Your Love" by The Outfield, a #6 hit from 1986.
- "Someday" by Glass Tiger, a #7 hit for the Canadian band in 1987.
- "Hands to Heaven" by Breathe, a #2 hit from 1988.
