Actor Peter Boyle died on 12/12/2006 at the age of 71. He was a terrific actor, best known for his ten years on Everybody Loves Raymond.

Animator Joseph Barbera, half of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon franchise, also died recently. Barbera passed away at the age of 95 on 12/18/2006.
